Hey guys, I’m back with another 5-paragraph format blog. The topic that Mr. M gave us this week is because the school year is coming to an end so we have a special topic of three things that we learned this school year in media. To be honest I probably learned more in media than most all my other classes (no offense to my other teachers and their subjects.) But I think I can narrow it down to a few core things that I learned in media. Just in case you were wondering I didn’t do a video this week because I don’t want people to see my face and that I don’t stutter and I can think it through more and do it at different times. So let’s get started on that blog.
The first main thing that I learned in media is procrastination is not good and that it can only cause trouble. If I do procrastinate even if I don’t get in trouble from an adult, I get in trouble from the world because it smacks me in the face and says “you are late”. So I definitely know from a year in media not to dawdle. Especially when a project or other things due date is soon.
The second thing is to always take care, remember, and put back equipment. Whether it’s yours, your friend’s, or especially Mr. Ms always, every time respect the equipment. It not only will get you a lecture and scolding but also a bad reputation and expenses $$$.
The final big thing that I learned in media is how to make videos! I mean that’s why you come to CKTV and it’s what you do (along with Inside Scoops, Morning Announcements, etc.) If you didn’t learn this in your year of CKTV I don’t know what to say except for “YOU WERE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!”
Thanks you for reading my blog this week and I’ll see you if I do another blog. If some of you media kids are looking at this for inspiration don’t use it. Goodbye, and remember, always brush your teeth.
Hey guys I am finally back with a free blog which to me means: I Am Free! Anyway, I like this video because it has a good story and many interesting shots. It also kind of filled me in on what Amsterdam is like... a little bit. Anyway, thank you for reading my blog and I will see you back here next time.
Good evening everybody! It's your boy Lukas here yet again with another STN Blog. Today we did our morning procedures and headed down to the closing ceremony all the Hawaii schools did great I was really impressed. In our class my category Silent Film we got first honorable mention, PSA won, Anchoring got third, Nat Package got third, Nat Sound won I think, and I think Movie Trailer got second (be sure to comment on it if I missed yours or gave misinformation on the topic of your conversation.) My pen pal told a story after the ceremony about how he has a fake part of his teeth and it came out while he was eating an apple for the nutrition PSA. Next we made our way to Disney and had fun there, I'm not going to get into much detail because otherwise the blog would be too long. (Don't worry we did eat.) Then we came back to the hotel and here we all are. Thank you for reading my STN Blog today, thanks again and good night.
For todays blog I will be again explaining what happened today. First we did morning procedures, then I went to go film for silent film. Our film turned out okay but the shots were a bit grainy. Then I went to two breakout sessions. We ate lunch which for me was a Ham sandwich. Then we went to the Angels vs Dodgers game, we were in front of the Valley Middle School and three boys from there all liked Taylor. Then some people who were celebrating about the Angels victory almost got into a fight with some Dodgers fans in the parking lot.
Good evening, my viewer this is Lukas with my sixth STN Blog. To summarize what I did to day was we ate breakfast in my room. Next I went to breakout sessions because I didn't compete today. Then we went to lunch in the lobby which was a sandwich. Next we went to the last breakout session. Next we went to dinner at a cool place called Cheesecake Factory. I got the Skinnylicous Cesar Salad with chicken, then for dessert we had a Cheesecake Alamode. Finally we went to the STN excellence awards and there were so many good stories, but a few of them were about people were sad stories about people and animal dying. It was good for the most part though. Thank you for reading and I'll see you next time.
Hey guys, it's Lukas again with another STN single-paragraph daily blog. For today we woke up we ate breakfast in our room which I wasn't too happy about. Then we went to the Crazy 8s competition, Kai, Keith, and I did a man on the street story about these two people who worked for a Disney resort, one was born in Mexico and one in America, one came for financial reasons and got that job the other has a family business that required her to move a lot and she ended up working there. But when we were finally happy that we were going to turn it in we didn't notice that we exported the wrong thing. Taylor blamed it on herself because she was doing the final edits, but it wasn't her fault then Kate and Shayne started crying with Taylor and even Natalie who isn't even on our team was crying. Then we went to the opening ceremony where we saw the creator "Back at the Barnyard" and "Jimmy Neutron". Then we came back at like ten and here we are. Thank you for reading and good night my friends.
Today at STN we started going to breakfast at McDonalds and I sat next to Kate, Kai, and Napua. I got an Egg McMuffin and it was pretty good. Then we saw an awesome presentation at Pixar and met the guy who voiced Olof! Then we went to get food at a shopping center and I also got some Ice N' Cream and the employee who helped me was swearing two times per second (don't worry, it wasn't at me). Then we unwinded at the hotel room. Finally I met and befriend Austin when we were at Bubba Gumps for dinner. Thank you for reading and good night.
What's up viewers? Today I am back again for another STN Blog. Today we woke up, checked out of our old hotel, then departed for breakfast at Bob's Big Boy. I ordered the Big Three and it was truly a BIG three, there were four pancakes, eggs, and three bacon strips. Thankfully Shayne helped me out with two of the bacon strips and I ate the other I also ate three pancakes and some eggs. I was so full after that. Next we went to the Chinese theater next to the Hollywood walk, it was cool because I saw so many people taking photos of the Donald Trump. Then we went shopping where I got gifts for my family. Then we went to downtown Disney for dinner and to go shopping, we ate pizza at a place that I forgot their name then we ate ice cream. Then Amber found an embarrassing fifth grade picture of Erik she posted it on Instagram and Erik reported it like twice. Then I finished my shopping we talked for a bit walked back and I did my blog. Thank you for reading and good night.
